We offer an e-Consult service which is often the most convenient way to get the help that you need.  When you use the e-Consult service, you will be offered a range of options including advice, self-help or the ability to get GP advice and treatment.  You will receive a response by the end of the following working day.

E-Consults are available 08:00am to 14:00pm Monday to Friday.

E-Consults are not available from Friday 18:30pm until Monday morning 08:00am.

The Centre Practice is now offering patients the option to Self-refer to local pharmacies for Minor Illnesses, these include: 

• Cold or Flu symptoms

• Sore throat

• Cough

• Diarrhoea

• Skin / Rash issues

• Hay Fever

Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals and can offer clinical advice and medicines for all sorts of minor ailments, with a same day consultation at a time that suits you.

- All GP appointments are phone appointments initially and a face to face assessment will be arranged with the Doctor if required

• Telephone appointments are released on Wednesday's at 11:00am for the following week’s clinics. 
• Please do not call at 8am for a routine appointment on a Wednesday as they will not have been released.  

- When booking the appointment, the receptionist will ask you the nature of your problem for signposting reasons

We offer a number of clinics and services in the treatment room with our Nurses and HCA’s (Health Care Assistant) as well as appointments with our Social Prescriber and MSK practitioner (links to services under 'Practice Services' section of the website)

We do have available appointments 08:00am to 18:00pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings.

We run a daily triage service for urgent problems. This runs from 8am until 5.45pm and a health professional will call you back to discuss your concerns.

This service is run by our 2 Nurse Practitioners who have advanced training in triage and in assessing and seeing urgent problems and is supported by the Duty GP. 

Please call reception to arrange a call back if you think your problem is urgent by calling (01329) 823456 

If you want to cancel an appointment please phone the Surgery during opening hours or email us at  hiowicb-hsi.centrepractice@nhs.net telling us when the appointment is and who it is with.
 

You can also cancel your appointment via the NHS App/Patient access.

It helps us if you can give us as much notice as you can so we can offer the appointment to someone else

Home visits are only made to patients who are permanently or temporarily housebound.

If you require a home visit, please phone the secretaries on (01329) 820515 before 11:00am. You will then receive a call from a Health Care professional to discuss the request.
