We are continually working to improve hearing loss services. We are therefore delighted that as of 2^nd April 2024, we have been able to introduce an NHS Hearing Aid Self-Referral Pathway.

This self-referral pathway is for patients that are over 55 years old and who are most likely to be suffering with age related hearing loss.

The service is provided by Practice Plus Group/ Scrivens Hearing Care and patients can book their appointment directly by phone or on the Scrivens website, selecting the best location for them.

The criteria are as follows:

• Over 55 years
• Age related hearing loss only, no underlying medical reason, no ear wax
